The U.S. Study Abroad 2018 seminar series “How to Get into Top Schools?” led by Mr. Trần Đức Cảnh – U.S. Education Expert, was held for the second time on August 25, 2017, at Café Du học Trẻ.
Many parents and students attended the event. During the seminar, Mr. Trần Đức Cảnh shared a wealth of updated information about the admissions situation of top U.S. High Schools and Universities.
In addition to information about admission criteria, experiences in planning for study abroad, what parents need to prepare for their children to study abroad, whether students should pursue STEM fields according to trends or their own interests, and how to find postgraduate scholarships were hot questions from the attendees.
The program lasted longer than expected due to the many questions raised, with hands continuously raised, making the atmosphere in the room “hotter” than ever, even though it was pouring rain outside.
At the end of the seminar, Mr. Trần Đức Cảnh presented gifts as a token of good luck to the students who attended the program.
The first three students to arrive at the event received “gifts” of survival skills classes for future NEEC study abroad students. The class is scheduled to start in October.
Wow! A T-shirt from Brown University.
We invite parents and students to take a look at some photos from the seminar:
Gifts from top universities ready for “new students.”
Books for standardized test preparation just “arrived” at NEEC.
Sharing thoughts with parents.
“Just focus on studying, NEEC will take care of the rest.”
Following the success of the seminar, NEEC plans to organize a workshop once a month to bring the most up-to-date information about U.S. education to young people, how to prepare a successful study abroad plan, how to prepare for standardized tests to achieve the best results, and how to prepare “materials” for an impressive essay,… these are expected to be the topics of upcoming seminars. Parents and students are invited to follow and update seminar information here or on NEEC’s Facebook page.
