Academic English Program:
Suffolk has over 7,650 students, including 1,431 international students from over 100 countries. The Academic English program is designed specifically for international students studying at Suffolk, helping them quickly integrate into the academic environment, community, and American culture.
Students will take a placement test to determine their English proficiency. The program has 6 levels, each lasting 14-15 weeks. After completing the required levels, students will transition to their main academic programs.
In addition to basic skills, students will develop academic skills such as research writing, presentations, understanding academic materials, note-taking, and more.
