Canada ranks #1 in the World’s Best Countries
This year, the model supporting this report has evolved to respond to a year of significant change since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cultural, economic, political, and technological impacts are of paramount importance, and two new categories have been added: social purpose and agility. These factors were considered in ranking the best countries among 78 nations worldwide.
Canada continues to top the list in terms of quality of life and social purpose. This evaluation is based on Canada’s strong job market, commitment to human rights, and dedication to social justice. Additionally, the country ranks first in being non-corrupt and respecting property rights. Canada and the Nordic countries are also considered the most committed to social justice.
